Apple iPhone and iPod Touch are now going to be equipped with BBC’s most popular iPlayer Video On Demand Service. BBC has been chosen the Apple’s these two handset’s at first because they have recognized that these are highly optimized handsets which can play the high quality video from BBC’s network.
The software currently comes in two versions - a program which allows users to download programmes to their Windows PC and a streaming version on the web available to all users.
